Digital Echidna is Proud to be a Part of the MasterCard Memorial Cup Social Media Team

We have a whole lot of future superstars in this city this week. And with all the action both on and off the ice, it can be tough to keep up.

But while the Val D'or Foreurs, Guelph Storm, Edmonton Oil Kings, and your hometown London Knights will dominate the action inside the Budweiser Gardens, there's another team that you're going to want to keep an eye – and your iPhone – on.

Digital Echidna is proud to be the official social media headquarters of the 2014 MasterCard Memorial Cup. We're going to be supporting the social media efforts of the tournament – specifically the MCMemorial Cup Twitter feed and the #MCMemorialCup hash tag.

What does that mean? It means we'll be out and about, trying to capture those exciting moments, experiences, and images of the tournament, and sharing them with you. It means we'll do our best to answer any questions you may have about the event and the activities surrounding it.

And if we don't have the answers at our fingertips, we'll do our best to track it down and get it to you. We'll also be resharing your content – so keep those photos, videos, and comments coming.

So what does that mean? It means you'll see a few people in Echidna jerseys around King and Talbot. Feel free to stop and say hi, or smile for a picture.

For hockey fans, the Memorial Cup is one of the most exciting events. For the City of London, the Memorial Cup is just another feather in our collective cap – another elite event that shows the amazing party that London can throw when it comes together for a common cause.

Whether you're a hockey fan or not, I encourage you to come down and just experience the atmosphere. We're lucky to have the catbird seat. Located on the second floor of the Burridge Block (one of London's oldest commercial buildings) in the heart of downtown London, we've got a front-row seat to all the excitement.

And we're happy to share it all with you.
