Waving the Flag

This year, we celebrated the 50th anniversary of our iconic Canadian flag. And it's a flag that we're proudly waving both home and abroad.

It's been a banner year of growth for Echidna. We've grown to over 40 staff and our client roster continues to evolve. While we're still very committed to London, our reach and influence has extended throughout Canada and the U.S.

We're part of the global economy, but we do it in a very Canadian way. We wear our Canadian roots on our sleeves (literally! You'll be able to find us at events and trade shows in our Echidna hockey jerseys), and we're proud of where we come from.

And we're excited about where we're going.

We're bringing the world to Canada

This past weekend, we were the diamond sponsor of the Drupal North Regional Summit in Toronto. Many of our team members presented, volunteered, or otherwise supported the event right from its inception.

We're proud to be leaders in the Drupal community and we're happy to share our knowledge and expertise in open-source technology. But it's not a role that we've been handed -- we've worked diligently and invested a lot of time and resources in growing into that role. And we're going to continue to build upon our foundation of Drupal excellence and work towards making London a hub of elite development.

We're bringing Canada to the world

As I mentioned, we've been growing. It's a not-so-slow, but steady build that has been reflected in the size and scope of the projects that we've been engaged to complete.

And what's exciting is that this isn't just local or regional growth. The Echidna brand is growing both North of the 49th and south of the border. We're growing a marquee roster of clients from the U.S. and bringing that business back to the Forest City.

We know how much amazing talent there is in this city, and we're thrilled to be at the vanguard of putting Canada -- and London specifically -- at the forefront of the industry.

We're all pretty thankful that we're Canadian. We count our blessings that we were born in such an amazing country and we're proud to wear our Canadian-ness on our sleeves.

Happy Canada Day everyone. I hope you share it with friends, family, and loved ones.
