How To Create Your Own YouTube Channel

1. Create an account OR “channel” with YouTube – if you already have a Google account you can link this account to YouTube
2. Create a Username and fill out the “Get started with your account form”
3. Confirm and activate your account through the confirmation email you’ll be sent shortly after you complete the sign up form
4. Sign-in using your Username and Password
5. Click on the Upload button and begin filling your channel!

YouTube accepts a wide range of video file formats – so even if you’re new to video production there is a format that will work for you. The file types accepted are: .WMV, .3GP, .AVI, .MOV, .MP4, .MPEG, .FLV, .SWF and .MKV.

Once you have your account set up users can subscribe to your channel and have the option to rate your videos so you can see what people think about your video content in real-time.
