Holiday Wishes from the Echidna Team
The Christmas Eve Eve Day (the math adds up!) today and as we know that many people may give themselves the gift of a little extra time today, I wanted to make sure that I got a chance to wish everyone, on behalf of the entire team at Digital Echidna, a very Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, and Happy Holidays.
Over the next few days, I hope you get to spend some time with your friends, family, and loved ones, because no matter whether or not you ascribe to a particular faith, this season -- and really all seasons -- are about being good to each other, celebrating our blessings, and working together to make this a better world for us all.
If you've been following along on this Echidna journey of ours, you've seen us grow from a "one-man-in-a-basement" beginning that's almost too stereotypical to be believed, to where we are now -- 50-or-so Echidnas, taking over the first, second, and fourth floors of the Burridge Block downtown. And one of the greatest parts of this growth has been the incredible team we've developed.
Young, old(er); born in London or born on the other side of the Earth; religious or not; we're all in it together, working, sharing, laughing, and learning from each other.
The world's not perfect, we know that. But that makes it even more important to appreciate what you have and with whom you're sharing it. We're all doing our best and trying to succeed as a team. And that makes the eventual successes all the more enjoyable.
But you know what they say about all work and no play... So we're going to enjoy the holidays over the next few days. And it looks like we're going to have a White Christmas for the first time in a few years, so that's always particularly Canadian.
Whatever you celebrate (or don't celebrate), I hope you have the chance to enjoy the time with your friends, family, and loved ones. On behalf of everyone at Digital Echidna, let me thank you for your support of Echidna and the people who work here.
Merry Christmas!
