Echidna's Drupal Inv-Asian

From South London to Shanghai. When I started this business, I had no idea that its reach would extend as far as it has. But I'm proud to say that Echidnas are continuing to make an impact on the global scene.

And I'm more proud to say that this is not about me.

I know it sounds like a cliché, but Digital Echidna really did start with one guy (me) in a basement. Now, we're over 40 people packing two floors of the iconic Burridge Block in the heart of downtown London. We've still got clients across the street (literally), but we've expanded our reach throughout North America with an ever-growing (both in geography and in enterprise status) roster of clients across Canada and the U.S.

And now we're making an impact in the Asian market as two of Echidna's employees will be presenting in Asia over the next few months.

Scott Reeves will be presenting on The Drupal 8 Theming Experience at DrupalCon Asia, from Feb. 18-21, 2016 in Mumbai, India, and Yan Zhang will be attending Drupal Camp China on March 26th and will be meeting with local agencies in Shanghai. She'll be delivering a presentation on the advantages of the Drupal Content Management System and how to build a cohesive Drupal Team.

I couldn't be more happy to share this information. Traditionally, Echidna hasn't been one to toot its own horn. We're appreciative of the awards and recognitions we've received; we're proud of our involvement in the community and the impact we have on the causes we support, but we believe in doing things quietly and for our own reasons.

But when it comes to our team, we're happy to shout from the rooftops about their growth and success.

Digital Echidna's employees have taken a leadership role in the Drupal community -- we now have five Acquia Certified Drupal Grand Masters on staff, which is more than any other city has in Canada. We are proudly putting London on the global Drupal map.

I know Digital Echidna is only as strong as its staff. These are the people representing Echidna at home and abroad; they're the ones interacting with our clients on a daily basis and directly responsible for our success and growth.

It's a great way to start the new year and we couldn't be more proud that Scott and Yan will be carrying the Echidna standard to Asia!
