Explode Conference: A Spark to Fuel the Fires of Creativity and Innovation

Next week, Fanshawe College's Centre for Digital and Performing Arts will be hosting the two-day Explode Code event. It's described as "a celebration of the tech community" and we're proud to be sponsoring the event.

But this isn't about us. It shouldn't be about us, but rather Explode represents who we were and what others can be.

One of the reasons we love to support events like Explode, Ladies that UX, Ladies Learning Code, LonDUG, and, of course, Drupal Camps and Cons, is because we remember what it was like trying to find your way in the business. And we know how valuable it can be to have mentors and experts sharing their knowledge and experience.

Explode is bringing together some of the best and brightest to share information, interact with people we may not normally get a chance to interact with, and try new things. We get that -- at Digital Echidna, we know how powerful a community of innovators and collaborators can be! It's why we're committed to the open-source Drupal Content Management System and it's why we're excited to support and attend Explode.

London's got some amazing talent within its boundaries. We're lucky to have educational facilities like Western and Fanshawe on-hand to continually develop and foster people's talent. But then what? Once you've graduated, what do you do? Where do you go? What are your options?

Events like Explode provide more than just information and guidance -- they can help people follow career paths they didn't even know existed. To us, what's exploding is potential and opportunity. There's really nothing more rewarding than hearing someone say, "I didn't know that was a career option," and finding that their passion has a place in today's ever-evolving technology industry.
