Drupal North - Strong and Free!
An amazing Drupal summit is coming to the true north -- strong and free!
Did I mention free?
Absolutely, 100 per cent free.
Digital Echidna is proud to be a diamond-level sponsor of the Drupal North Regional Summit, which takes place this weekend (June 25-28) at the Rogers Communications Centre in Toronto's Ryerson University.
You can still register for Drupal North! And now I'll tell you why you should.
I'm also putting my money where my mouth is! Over 20 Echidnas are making the trek down the 401 to attend and participate at this event, so I really hope we see some of you there! It's going to be four-days of Drupal excitement -- training, sessions, and code sprints -- in both official languages!
We've even got three Echidnas presenting at the event:
- Scott Reeves' Drupal 8 Theme System: hook_theme() to Twig Template;
- Yan Zhang's Building a Cohesive Drupal Team; and
- Martin Anderson-Clutz's Location in Drupal: Where it's At
There's also a trio of incredible Keynote speakers on hand: Aquia's Michael E. Meyers, Bond Art + Science's Karen McGrane, and Lullabot's Jeff Eaton will be on hand to share their knowledge and experience with Drupal, and to look ahead to the future with the arrival of Drupal 8.
You can learn all about the events by visiting the Drupal North webpage.
We've said it before and we'll say it again -- Digital Echidna is committed to the Drupal content management system because we believe it's the strongest, most robust, and most scalable CMS on the market. The strength of Drupal is its open-source nature and the dedicated community that works each and every day to make it bigger, better, and more functional.
That's where events like the Drupal North Regional Summit come in. By bringing together people from all across the country (and south of the border), we can continue that great collaborative work and grow Drupal. Whether you're a Drupal Grandmaster or just getting your feet wet, there's a place for you at Drupal North.
And may I remind you again, it's free.
This is the first event of its kind on Canadian soil and we're looking forward to seeing 500 Drupal enthusiasts on-site to share in the excitement.
We look forward to seeing you there!
